Half Marathon

Start: 10.30 am, Bridge 25th April – March 16, 2014

Tolls’ Square of the Bridge 25th April – Alcântara – Rua de Cascais (Pingo Doce) – Avenida 24 de Julho – Praça do Comércio. Once arrived at Campo das Cebolas (Largo do Terreiro do Trigo), the athletes turn in the opposite direction of traffic – through Praça do Comércio and Avenida 24 de Julho, towards Alcântara – Avenida da Índia (passing by the Jeronimos Monastery, towards Algés) and continue through Avenida Marginal (Avenida Ivens) almost up to Dafundo, where they return in the opposite direction of traffic, through the same arteries, up to Jerónimos, where the finish line is installed.

EDP Lisbon Half Marathon

  • The course race was measured officially by approved measurers of AIMS and IAAF and has an official distance of 21, 097 MTS.
  • The race start will take place at 10h 30 on the Bridge (Ponte 25 de Abril) a little after the toll barriers.
  • The Lisbon Half Marathon race course is very flat and it has a different point of start and finish, (point to point) This race is one of the fastest of the world

    Toll’s Square of the Bridge 25th of April, Alcântara. Rua de Cascais (Pingo Doce), Lisbon Congress Centre, Avenida da Índia, Praça do Império. Finish Line in front of the Jerónimos Monastery – Praça do Império.

    This event will have a distance about of 7.200 MTS, not timed, and its start will be given into simultaneous with the Half Marathon and will take the same course race until Alcântara, turning then on the right in direction, straight, to the Monastery (Mosteiro dos Jerónimos) where the Finish line is installed. META.
